Body Shop’s Absinthe Purifying Hand Butter
Somehow, Absinthe doesn’t sound very promising as a beauty ingredient, does it? As the name of a shade of eye shadow, maybe, but for a hand cream? So my heart didn’t exactly leap at the arrival of Body Shop’s Absinthe Purifying Hand Butter – it sounds irritatingly attention-seeking like, say, vodka hair gel or, come to think of it, that Hemp range… but whaddayaknow it’s terrific. Light in texture, fresh and green-smelling, and apparently good at ‘concealing odours’, too. Worth a try, though at £11 for 100ml you may want to use it sparingly.
