Hello

I'm a beauty journalist blogging about what really works from cosmetics to cosmetic surgery.

Le Soft

Le Soft

Pretty and potent: Le Soft solid perfume

What is it?  Solid perfume in a super-pretty little packages.

What’s the USP? Cute and gorgeous solid-stick fragrance that's alcohol-free, long-lasting (both in terms of the fragrance, and the fact that you get nearly 300 applications from each 20g stick)and gentle on sensitive skin, too.

Hero product? They're all pretty fab, aren't they, particularly this one above called Copacabana (pink peppercorn, violet, orange blossom, jasmine, oakmoss, patchouli) is one of the top sellers.

The sweet smell of rock & roll: Le Soft

How new is it? Created by Isabelle Masson Mandonnaud -- who co-founded Sephora -- and Philippe Vignon two years ago in France and just launched over here this summer thanks to CultBeauty.co.uk. £19 each.

I’d try... Can't really predict what you would like in terms of fragrance, can I? But I'm told by the lovely Alexia who founded CultBeauty.co.uk that she particularly loves Le Rock (Bergamot, Orange, Cedar, Amber, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Leather, Musk, Oud) because 'it smells like Patty Smith did when I met her a few years ago, ie EXACTLY as it should!'
